About the artwork

Samoo mino is the representation of bamboo during a dry season. Hence the hanging and lifeless leaves. Used colors: Black. This image has its conceptual origins in Asian sumi-e painting. Here, only a delicate reference to an ancient traditional painting is created. Any claim to perfect use and handling of the techniques used there is dispensed with by me. The idea of capturing the lightness of the bamboo object on paper is the focus here.
